''President Day''

What is Presidents Day? Presidents day is the third monday of febuary. Many people celebrate this holiday on February 22 (the actual birthday of George Washington) but its normally celebrated on the 15 of febuary. Presidence day is a holiday where we see many things that Abraham, George Washington and many other presidents did back then.

What is the purpose of President Day? The purpose of this holiday is to celebrate the presidents from the pasy and now present. George Washtington also wanted to have more three day weekends for the workers of the U.S. but we only have a couple of holidays like that.

When is Presidents Day? This holiday is celebrated normally on the 15 of February. Many people are confused at times because they notice that its none of the presidents birthdays. The reason why this holiday was changed to the 15 of February instead of that 22 of February was because of the Uniform Monday Holiday Act.

What are several ways to show honor and respect for this day: For students, A way to honor this holiday is having the teachers show us al the things that Abraham and other presidents did in the U.S. The ways you can honor this holiday is to celebrate and have rememberance for the things that all the persidents have done for us.
