The 7 Habits Reflection 

The seven habits that Stephen R. Covey taught us helped me become am effective person. I applied these seven habits to my daily life and I improved my grades and the way I act towards people. These seven habits are able to change your life in a dramatic way. Being proactive helped me be more active at my schools and at home. My grades improved and i started to help others around me. Beginning with the end in mind have helped me to see the win in every competition. I try harder everyday to to challenge myself and become a better and more effective person. Putting first things first has also helped with me turning in work and being able to improve my grade by the end of this winter semester. Thinking win-win has helped me because it tells me that nothing is impossible. I am able to fulfill more things in my life planning goals journal. By seeking to understand, then to be understood has also helped me understand others perspectives in their own ways other than only my perspectives. I am now able to understand others without being defensive.  Synergizing has be also a big part of my effectiveness. I've learned to work with others without a problem. I found that working with others has a big impact on how I finish my completed work. Finally, Sharpening the Saw has helped me become more spiritually and emotionally better. I'm sure that by sharpening the saw you are able to discover so many other things about yourself. 

Habit #7: Sharpen The Saw

              You can be strong physically, but you also need o be able to be mentally, spiritually, and emotionally. It is important o be strong in all of these characteristics. By being strong in all of these characteristics you are able to do many things in life and succeed. In this generation everyone wants to be successful. In order to do that you need to be able to be strong in all of these ways. You will be filled with positivism and good vibes. Its is also important to be able to not have a bad attitude. You are able to develop these skills the more you learn about life. Also the decisions you make will affect the way you learn these strengths. Life is made up of decisions. Before you make any decisions, you should think about it first. That way you will become more wiser and have different perspectives. 

Habit #6: Synergize

            In your life time you will at one point synergize with someone else weather it be in a group project a working dilemma. Syergizing is very important because you do work better with more people. Taking time to appreciate the help, you will also be able to be friends with others.  When doing teamwork you will be able to experience the fun it is to work with others. It is important to make sure you do teamwork with others because in that way you will be able to work better. Being able to work with other is an important skill to have for future use. Future use such as jobs or university. Developing these skills will help you become a better communicator. Also working with others will help you brainstorm. You can come up with new ideas and new solutions to any problem. Working with others will help you exceed in your academical proficiency. When synergizing your not only helping yourself, your helping the people around you too. 

Habit #5: Seek first to understand, then to be understood

When talking to others you should always make sure that you understand their perspective. When ever you express your perspectives with others, the other people should also respect you and understand your own opinion. It isn't wise to be in a argument with someone because it is going to ruin your and the other persons reputation. It is better to talk about the issue rather than make it into something violent. In the end of the day people will always have to disagree with what you say. It better to be the better person and understand what they are arguing about. You never want to make any enemies because something that can be argued about can end up like something positive for both of you. people will disagree on somethings you agree about, but it isn't something where you should start getting all defensive about. Being positive is something everyone should have even when the other person disagrees with you. In order to understand others, you also have to understand them. It is also important to understand your opponents perspective so then you will be able to back it up with information. In the end of the day, people will always think of things differently so there is no reason to really fight about it other than being understood. 

Habit #4: Think Win-Win

In order to be successful in life, you have to think like an effective person. A effective person thinks win-win. Win-win refers to being able to do everything with a positive attitude and try your hardest to win. With victory or no victory, you are a winner. If you push yourself enough to be able to win you will be able to do so. It is important to go into a competition with the win in mind. Without thinking that way you want give yourself the push you need to win. It is always a good thing to do tings your way. Only if it is a positive change for you and others. In that way you will be able to change others in a good way. You can even give your opponent good luck by telling them something positive. It is good to share your positivism with others because then people will see that you are humble. If you were to lose the game, you should be humble and congratulate the winner. In the end of the day, the real winner is everyone because, everyone tried their hardest to do all they could to win.

Habit #3 : Put first things first 

In order to be an effective person, you must put your priorities first. If you know that you have to do work and it due soon you should do it cause its the right thing to do. As a responsible person, you want to keep things as organized as possible. If  you were to keep things organized and completed you shouldn't have no worries. When you put your first things first, you are able to get over the hard work and then do easier work. It wouldn't be right if you were to ignore what you need to do because the you wont get any work done. The goal for every person is to be stress free and finish all work. Because of that, effective people will do their work on time. Putting your responsibilities first is always a good thing. The reason being is that later on that day you wont have to do a hand full of work. Being behind on work that you need to complete isn't being a effective person. In order to be an effective person, you must finish your duties first.

Innovation

My personal opinion on the new innovation of electrical items is that I am amazed. If the people that lived in the passed were t see the new technology, they would also be amazed. The world has evolved into a world that uses technology for most of the things that it needs. We use technology for things like transportation. Our generation uses electrical cars, bicycles, and even skateboards. It honestly surprises me how now even technology takes us to places. Also, there are people losing their jobs because electrical robots are taking over their place. Technology can be a very positive thing for us but, also a bad thing. Such as for hard workers in factories. Slowly, robots are taking over peoples jobs leaving people with no job. Leaving people with no job and no way to make any income. Without any income, people wont be able to make money. Therefore, they wont be able to pay bills or pay for food. Even though technology will be able to make many things possible, it can also push over people from making any money. This can hurt he economy very bad because those companies that use robots will make more money for themselves. The new electrical items in the world make everything easier and more doable. This new and innovative technology will help all of us in positive ways. 

Habit #2: Begin with the end in mind

When you begin setting a goal, you expect to meet the goal. If you set a goal without any purpose, then there is no reason to do it. You need to be able to meet your goal with an end in mind. Meaning that if you were to set a goal and visualize yourself meeting that goal you will succeed. With this habit to be an efficient person, you will be able to do many things in life. Even if it isn't a goal, you want to be able to see yourself succeed. The reason why you would want to do that is so you will be able to have confidence that you will meet what you want to meet. With confidence in mind and positivity every goal is possible. The unlimited things you are able to do if you were to had this habit are incredible. With these habits you will learn to be a better and more efficient person. These habits and the ones that are coming your way will help you have more self-confidence. It will help you meet all your goals and experience positivity in a way that not many people have experienced it. 

Habit #1: Be Proactive 

To be an effective person, you need to be able to be proactive with yourself and also those who surround you. In order to be proactive you should be able to make positive changes within yourself. Changing your actions in a positive way will help you make the right decisions and make your life a more positive life. Without being proactive, you will lose time to being an effective person. Being an effective person will help you in many ways. Such as, getting accepted into a job or even getting accepted into colleges. Education is very important in this day and age. The reason being is because with education you will be able to make good money. Effective and proactive people will achieve great heights. One thing is being successful and owning companies and having lots of money, and another thing is being successful with your own person. To be able to be successful with your own person, you will both be a productive person and also an effective person. These two will guide you into a life full of success and fortune. As well as a good reputation. All of these three words will make you a better person, a kind friend, and a good approachable person. Being all of these three will show people that you are able to communicate and be friendly towards them. In the end of the day you want to give a good impression to yourself and mostly the people that surround you.

Physical Therapist

Duties and Responsibilities: Talk to their patients about their physical condition, Provide a massage, teaching patients how to use exercise techniques correctly, and Maintain patients records

Salary: The average salary for a physical therapist is $66,960 per year. This job is one of the most high paid jobs in the medical careers. Sometimes when people work as a physical therapist for 20 years they normally find another better paying job.

Education: In order to become a licensed physical therapist you'll have to pass the NPTE examination. You'll also need Doctor of Physical Therapy degree.

Demand for this profession: There is no need to have more Physical therapist because there's lots of them already. But normally when physical therapist have been working for over a decade they tend to find a job that pays more. In this case we will need more physical therapist.

Reflection: I think that i would love to be a physical therapist because you get to learn a lot about the body and you also have the opportunity to help others. I also have a really big interest about the anatomy of the body and this can really show you all the things that can happen to the patient's body.

Rule #6: Make the other person feel important; and do it sincerely 

When you are meeting someone new, it is important to make that person feel important. It is always better when you also make them feel as if their perspectives are respectable. When talking to someone new, is it good to make them feel as if they matter to you and that you value them.  If you make a person feel that way then you will gain respect and also a friendship with them. When someone makes you feel important it makes you want to talk to that person again.  That is why it is crucial to show people that they are important. Also, don'[t make the feel important just because you want their friendship. Make them feel important because you sincerely feel as if they deserve it. If a person is disrespectful to you, then personally they don't deserve your time and effort. They only deserve it when they also acknowledge your perspectives and importance. It's good to know the difference of the new people in your lives. The longer you talk to them the more you will know about who they are and what their made of. 

Rule #5: Talk in terms of the others mans interest.

When you want people to get to like you, it is helpful to talk about the other persons interest. This is a good thing to do because you will see what that person is all about. Getting to know the person your talking to is important cause then you will be able to see their perspective on everything. It is normal to have disagreements but, it is always good to not go against the other persons perspective. If your getting a person to like you as a friend, then make sure that they are comfortable talking about what their passionate about or something their dealing with. When talking about another mans interest, you yourself will learn more about the person and also the subject in which you are talking about. When talking to others, make sure you are a good listener and listen in depth to what their saying. In that way you will understand them more. When your getting to know a person find out what their interested in. Also find out what they don't like and what they do like. In this way you will be able to bring up a conversation with no problem.

  

Oliver Peck

Oliver Peck has inspired me to go into the idea of pursuing a career in being a tattoo artist. His work has elevated over the years with plenty of practice and dedication to his tattoo shop. His style of tattooing is incredible. I love how he has mastered the art of tattooing in the traditional style. He has became a world famous tattoo artist because of his tattoo work and also because of the TV shows he has been in. All of his work is done right and deserves the most amount of respect. I aspire to be a tattoo artist just like him because he has been really successful and his tattoos are always done right. No matter what he leaves his customers satisfied with a piece of art work that will be on them for the rest of their lives. I will work as hard as I can to be as successful as he is. Oliver deserves to be respected as an artist for his amazing work and an incredible amount of hard work. He is an inspiration to every tattoo artist because he knows how to properly execute a tattoo. 

Rule #4: Be a good listener. Encourage others to talk about themselves. 

It is important to be a good listener because then that way people will communicate with you. Communication takes a big part n meeting a new person because in that way you will be able to talk about what you are feeling with your friend. Without communication, there would be no friendship. In order to get your point straight to the person your talking to, you need to be able to talk to them but, also be a good listener. If you aren't a good listener the person that you are communicating to wont understand you in anyway. It is vital to be able to be a good listener because in that way you will be able to understand your friends perspective on the topic you are talking about. If you have a little of communication then the person your talking to wont be sure to let out their own opinions. Due to he fear of possibly saying something wrong. A person should never be afraid to communicate with you. If they are then your possible not listening to them or listening to their opinions. It is always good to encourage the person to talk about themselves so that then you will be able to know about them. Knowing a little about the person your talking to is good because in that way you will be able to start a conversation. 

Six Rules to Make Like You. If you Want people to Like You ...

Rule #1: Become Genuinely interested in other people.

Rule #1: If you became interested in others, others will be interested in you. If you are interested in someone's way of clothing or personality, then both of you have something to talk about. Its good to get to know people because then they can be useful for many things. When someone shares an interest, there is a bigger possibility that you will get along with them. Whenever you getting to know someone it is important to be kind and generous. You want to have a good impression on your new friend so that then they know that they can count on you. Whenever your going to build a friendship it is always a good thing to give them comfort when they need it. Making someone feel like they can trust in you is a big step into having a good and positive friendship. Interest combine friendships from all around the world. Also, a good positive attitude and a good reputation will also help a lot when meeting new people. People will avoid those who have a negative attitude. People will only be friends with those who are positive because that will make them feel more positive themselves. 

Rule #2: Whenever you meet someone new you want to give the impression of a positive and nice person. When meeting someone knew it is important to smile and be kind. Without  a smile and a negative presence, you want be able to meet many people. It is vital to give the best impression you can because you will be avoided by that person and many more. It is also good to have a generous heart and also a humble heart. When your getting to meet a new person you want them to see that you are made of pure kindness and humbleness. Having a friend is having someone you can trust. Things such as how you life is going or the problem your going through. With a positive attitude and a smile you will give you friend the comfort they need in order for them to trust you. Giving the comfort and help that your friends need will help them see that your trustworthy. As a human in this generation, you even have to have a good personality in what you do for a living. Jobs such as customer service, office work, and even teaching. 

                                                                                    

Rule #3: Remembering names takes a big part in building a true friendship or even getting someone to like you. Many people don't want their name to be forgotten especially if you mean a lot to them. If you remember names, it gives your friend comfort. Comfort that helps them believe that you really do care about them. People will see a trustworthy and helpful friend if you remember their names. This gives them the comfort because it shows that they really mean a lot to you. With that feeling, they will be able to trust in you like a family member of their own. Its always good to have companions with you because they will help you when your in need. Things such as problems that you need advice for. Friends can carry the most valuable advice. You have to know what types of friends your hanging out with. Las Vegas Massacre

I think that the mass shooting that happened recently was a horrible thing for that who were there and those who were victims. I don't know how people have the guts to kill another person. Its quite scary how people have a hold of these automatic guns. Personally, I think that people shouldn't own a automatic gun. I think that only the armed forces should have a hold of these guns because its a gun that causes mass destruction. Its horrible how the world is now unsure of going to an event because of the fear that someone will plant a bomb or use a gun to kill a large amount of people. Because of situations like this, people are unsure of going to fairs, concerts, or even amusement parks. Terrorism is something that makes people not trust each other. Anyone is aware of causing a terrorist attack and its scary how it can be at the most unexpected time. It seems as if the world is getting worse and worse. The last thing that the world needed was people destroying and taking other peoples lives. No one will be comfortable to go to big events because of the fear of being killed by someone who doesn't think straight. 

High Achievers Have a Heart

To be a high achiever you need to have a humble and honest heart. Without a humble heart, you will have a rotten and proud personality. This personality is something you shouldn't have if you want to have a good heart. You should feel sympathy for others and congratulate them if they won and you lost. Be humble and don't let a loss ruin your reputation. A good reputation is vital to be a high achiever. No matter that case you should always feel purposefulness and power when competing with someone. If you don't have any of these characteristics, you are not a high achiever. If you think that you aren't a high achiever, you can always become a high achiever. It's a simple process. All you have to do is be humble, hardworking, competitive, and honest. Anything is possible in this world. All you have to do is put in work on your reputation and the way you treat others. 

High Achievers are Teachable

To be a high achiever you need to be able to listen to the people that give you advice. Taking advice from others can help you gain knowledge and wiseness towards your high achieving. Teaching someone is also part of being a high achiever. Teaching others your high achieving ways can expand your acknowledgement.  Your intelligence will pass on to others and make others have a good reputation and good learning skills. It is always good to teach high achiever skills to children first because then they will grow up to to that type of learning. For you to be able to be a high achiever you need to be able to listen. Although being a high achiever isn't easy, it is something that you can work up to. You need to be able to recognize the bad actions and the good actions of people. Those who have bad actions are able to become someone with good actions. The only thing you have to do is teach them the right way.With plenty of high achievers in this world we are able to make the world a better place.

High Achievers are Willing to Risk Failure

To be a high achiever, you need to know what failure is. Each high achiever needs to understand that failure is something that is something that can happen. You need to be able to take in failure to be a high achiever. Failure should be something that helps you become a better and a more grateful person. You need to humble yourself to reach success. Without failure everyone would be proud and that's something that shouldn't happen. High achievers need to learn how to take failure because then they can take that failure and convert it into something that will help them gain more strength. Although failure might be something that you wouldn't want to accept, it something we need to learn so that we become more honest and hard working people. Take pride in what you stand for. Just because you failed at something doesn't mean that you need to put yourself down and not try anymore. Failure is positive in a way because it makes you a stronger person. Anyone that isn't willing to humble themselves to a loss isn't a high achiever. A high achiever will humble themselves, take their loss, and try and work harder everyday. 

High Achievers are Willing to Prepare

To be a high achiever you need to prepare yourself for any possible wrong situation. The only way you'll be a high achiever is if  you prepare things before hand. Those people who are prepared for any situations are high achievers because nothing will bring them down. In any situation you'll be successful and have lots of control of your situation. As a high achiever i always prepare my homework and supplies so i can be ready to go to school. I want to set a good example for my class mates and also my family. I want teaches to see that i myself am a high achiever with lots of energy and willingness to graduate. I am very prepared for college in the future. I am ready to challenge myself to bigger plans and god willing one day i will put up my own bakery. I am prepared and so are my other high school classmates. We are the future of this world and i am willing to make a positive impact on the people around me. I hope to one day inspire others to be prepared and to plan big because it will lead you to success. 

Health Scientist

• Radiation Therapist: These doctors use radiation to eliminate cancer cells found in the body. The radiation mostly gets rid of cancer cells in the blood of the human body. They also coordinate their own patients to guide them to how their feeling after the radiation is done.
• Physical Therapist: These doctors help patients recover from recent accidents. They use things such as physical therapeutic tape to help he patients keep their strength while their weak.
• Speech Therapist: These doctors help those people who have trouble speaking. Children and adults with down syndrome are mostly the patients to this doctor. Those who also have a problem swallowing also receive help from this doctor. 
• Occupational Therapist: This doctor helps those who are disabled complete basic tasks. Tasks such as putting on clothes and feeding themselves without anyone's help. 
• Dietitian: This doctor helps people stay healthy by giving them a diet to follow. Disables people can also benefit from this doctor by remaining with a health diet so their body is strong. 

Do What They Fear

To be a high achiever you need to do what people fear. This mean that do something that not a normal person would do. Without fear of anything you will be able to achieve so many things. If you have a fear towards something you are able to over come that fear with determination. A high achiever will gain confidence doing things other people fear. With lots of confidence you will feel as if you are able to do anything that people see as impossible. I think that as a high achiever, you should never limit yourself. High achievers are brave enough to make big plans and accomplish then. Without the fear of being judged by others or your personal fear you are able to make anything possible. If you were to have fear you wouldn't be able to do many things. Fear can control you and your thoughts. Its better to get rid of the fear you have and the fear that other people give you.  

The Six Attitudes of High Achievers

The first attitude we should apply to each of our own lives is to plan big. Planning big will help us expand our acknowledgement and self confidence. Don't limit yourself to doing something  just because you have to do it. Have fun and challenge yourself to make that assignment something creative and outgoing. Challenging yourself helps you think as if everything should be %100 perfect. That is something everyone should strive for. When doing any assignment you should always strive for perfection. Although, perfection does take some time and dedication.  If you start planning big now, you will be able to do so many things in the future that will help you succeed. Anyone is able to plan big. Its only up to you if you want to make that positive change in your life. 

9/11 Post

September 11, 2001 was a horrific day in where terrorist took the freedom of many people. Those terrorist are cowards and what they did to innocent people was a really disturbing thing. There was no reason for those terrorist to do this. People like this make the world a horrible place to be in. No one deserves to have their life take away especially if their innocent people doing their job. The thought of those families that lost a loved one due to two coward men is such a horrible thing. Terrorist deserve a punishment because they made families spit apart and they make the world a  bad place to live in. Families weren't the same after this day. Families were devastated and heart broken to know that one of their loved ones has pasted away. This day is a day that is marked to remember those innocent people who lost their lives due to people full of hate. People that are full of hate like these terrorist have no reason to be in this world. 

Way #8 : Be Still

Being still is something that everyone should have. Waiting for your response or an answer is something we all have to do cause it shows respect. Having respect for one another helps your reputation in many ways. A good reputation will show your people that you have a nice character and are truthful, loyal, and trustworthy. Having a good reputation doesn't come just because. Its something that you have to fight for and escalate to. You will be rewarded with the way you treat others and what you do in your daily life. Personally, a good reputation is very important to have and its something that everyone should have. 

Medical School Research

1. UC San Diego School of Medicine Location: San Diego, CA 

2. Admission Requirements: You need to fill out a AMCAS application before November 1. You will need basic science information and Behavioral and social attributes. As well as a high school diploma. 

3. Tuition: It is about 30,00 dollars. You are able to get loans from the UC and also financial aid. 

4. Degrees Offered: This school offers physicians scientist degrees and also other additional science programs. 

5. Specialization: You are able to specialize in physics, division of biological sciences, and chemistry. 

7. Reflection: I would personaly go to this school because it seems interesting. You pay for top dollar for a diploma here but i think its worth it. Plus, theirs so many activities and programs to do in your spare time. I'm surer that in a campus like this you will meet may new people and teachers that will help you pursue your scientific career. 

Be Humble

In order to have a good reputation, it is important to be humble. Having a good reputation can bring  positivism in your life for you and for others. Being humble can bring in new people into your life. People will be able to have respect and trust towards you. Being a trust worthy person can affect you in positive ways. I learned to be humble because of my sister Cristina Gomez. She has taught me the basics of being a good person. My sister in my inspiration because no matter what she always tries hard to make things work out in a positive directions. Being taught something as a kid wont leave your life ever. I acknowledge my sisters ways of helping others and being humble and always saying the truth. I know when i grow up to be an independent young adult i will teach my children the right way so that they will then be respectful like my sister and I. We should all humble ourselves because theirs other people out in the world that have it more difficult than us. We should consider them and be grateful for everything that we have.
