Duties and responsibilities: Creating recipes and prepare meals, Hiring staff members, Balancing a restaurant's book, Planning menus, Filling in orders, Catering to customers, Determine how the food will be presented, Estimate food cost such as spices or ingredients, Inspect supplies equipment and work to ensure conformance to established standards, Monitor sanitation practices
Salary: Median Pay $42,480 (annually)
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Demand for this profession: This career has grown 5% since 2012 so i think that there should absolutely be more people trying to come into this career. It seems quite fun and they pay you a good amount of money.

Reflection: This is actually my most preferred career of them all. I have past family that owned restaurants and they were really passionate with cooking for others. This career is lots of work but you get to work as a team. To have a successful business you need to work and be nice to your staff and mostly the customers.
