Military Medical
Duties and responsibilities: Examines stained blood smears microscopically and refers any abnormal cells to superiors. Performs coagulation studies on human blood and plasma. Performs chemical, macroscopic, and microscopic urine specimen examinations, Performs hematological tests and urinalysis. Accomplishes standardized quantitative and qualitative evaluation of erythrocytes, leukocytes, and thromboses, Performs chemical analysis. Analyses human material or other products submitted to the laboratory, using photometer, cliometric, metrication, radioisotope, or any other chemical or physical procedures applicable to clinical chemistry.
Salary: $90,547 (annually)
Education: Medical Career of at least 3 years before applying
Demand for this profession: By the looks of it, it seems that we need more people taking this profession because there not a lot of military medical people.
Reflection: I've been looking into joining the military because most of my family already did. I would definitely join a medical career for the military. They also give good pay and even a $20,000 bonus if you've been serving for 5 years.
